How I Edit My Instagram Pictures

Hiya Everyone,

I know a few weeks ago I did a post on my favourite Instagram Accounts so I thought I would do a post on how I edit my own photos for my Instagram account Dream_basics_blog. I will also include some of my favourite Instagram Pictures so I hope you enjoy…

The program I always use and swear by is Toolwiz. It is perfect for all sorts of editing and usually alongside editing for my Instagram, I edit pictures for my art coursework aswell. It is available on Google Play.

First of all I Crop my chosen image into a square. This is so it’s easier to decipher what the main focus of my Instagram will be and I won’t have to do it in the actual app.

Next I adjust brightness and occasionally temperature. As you can see, there’s many features to this app however I only use a couple. I only adjust the brightness until it’s slightly faded out and a lot more illuminated to suit the theme of my Instagram.

Once this is done I sharpen the image so the lines are much more harsher and defined. I also brighten the image even more to add a bit more perspective.

The last thing I do to edit the Image is put a filter on it. If I’m using Instagram to edit my images I either go for Clarendon or Dogpatch. However, if I’m editing on here I go onto the winter filters and either choose fashion mag or coffee. Both of these are really muted however I have to tone down fashion mag as it’s usually too blue.

The final thing to do is post it to Instagram using a catchy caption and there we have it. That is how I edit my Instagram Pictures please follow my Instagram at dream_basics_blog as I’m soon hosting a giveaway once I reach 3000 followers.

Love Jazz xxx
